WHO CAN VOTE?

Any registered voter in Macon County who is eligible to cast a ballot in the November 8, 2022 election.

 

HOW DO I REGISTER TO VOTE?

US Citizens over the age of 18, and who will have lived in the district for at least 30 days prior to the election, are qualified to register to vote.

If you are not already registered, you can register to vote online at the Illinois Online Voter Registration site. You can also check your registration status by going to the Illinois Board of Elections - Registration Lookup page.

 

HOW DO I VOTE?

Shane Mendenhall is running for 6th Circuit Judge in Macon County.

How do I Vote at my polling place?

Simply go to your polling place on November 8th and cast your vote. If you are not sure where you polling place is, you can visit the Illinois State Board of Elections - Polling Place Lookup, and find your correct polling place by searching your address.

HOW DO I VOTE EARLY?

All registered voters in Illinois are allowed to vote early without excuse. You can vote as early as September 29th at the Macon County Circuit Clerk’s office located at 141 S Main Street in Decatur.

How Do I Vote By Mail?

All registered voters in Illinois are allowed to vote by without excuse. You may have already received a vote by mail request card from the Macon County Clerks office.
