ATTORNEY SHANE MENDENHALL ANNOUNCES HIS INTENTION TO RUN FOR RESIDENT CIRCUIT MACON COUNTY JUDGE

Attorney Shane Mendenhall has declared his candidacy for Resident Circuit Macon County Judge for the Sixth Judicial Circuit. He will be seeking the Republican nomination to fill the open position following the announcement that Judge Thomas E. Little would not be seeking retention in 2022.

Shane’s greatest motivations to serve the community are his family and faith. “I want my children to grow up in a community that is safe; a community that is fair and just; and a community where people are treated with respect and at the same time held accountable for their actions,” said Shane. “That is why I am running for Circuit Judge.”

Shane is a lifelong resident of Macon County and passionate about serving the community. He is a proud graduate of Mt. Shane has devoted his career to representing families and small businesses throughout Central Illinois, a practice which has included business law, estate planning, injury work, class actions, and civil litigation. BRE Law’s managing partner, Chris Ellis, said “Shane and I have worked closely together for over 13 years. He has the experience, judgement, and temperament to serve the people of Macon County very well.”
